The pairing of Blake and Rick is a smaller-format offshoot of Perth corporate group Proof. Both musicians studied at WAAPA and work as full-time members of that band, bringing the same playing experience into their duo. Proof's support credits include Hunters & Collectors, Noiseworks, Dami Im, David Campbell, Daryl Braithwaite, Guy Sebastian and Chris Isaak. For wedding ceremonies and corporate functions, Blake and Rick take a calmer approach than the full corporate line-up. Two performers keep the focus on their musical connection while giving the room a live alternative to a larger band.
