Blarney Stone

Tin whistle, concertina, mandolin, fiddle, Irish octave banjo and tenor banjo. Those instruments are the reason Blarney Stone sound like the real thing rather than a rock band in green shirts. They play Irish and Celtic folk with a big pile of pub sing-along songs, old ones and modern ones, broken up by jigs and reels whenever the tempo needs lifting. And there's traditional Australian folk in the repertoire too, which goes down well with a local crowd. Brisbane based, and suited to functions, dances and folk nights. All players carry personal artist insurance.
