Blax

Strangers in a strange land is the idea behind Blax, a Brisbane stilt act built on long, insect like legs and a lot of quiet menace. There's no dialogue. The characters speak through gaunt posture, spindly shapes and a stare that holds a bit too long, searching for something familiar in a landscape that isn't. Beautiful and slightly unsettling, which is the point. Book them as a solo, a duo or a trio, and they can be combined with the other characters in the stable. They're crowd performers rather than stage acts, though they've held a seated audience before, including a short set at an Audi launch in Seoul.
