Bringing the old back to now, and the new back to then. blue JazZoo is Brent Doust and Andi Gallaher, dressed for the Great Gatsby era and playing vintage classics with a deliberate twist, then dropping suddenly into the present day. Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Fred Astaire and Ella Fitzgerald sit in the same set as Prince, Adele and Amy Winehouse. The two of them swap instruments as they go, between jazz keys, archtop guitar, percussion and lead and harmony vocals, and it can expand to a trio or quartet with drums and lead guitar. Quirky is the right word for it. Professional sound and lighting supplied. Gold Coast based, and insured. The old material keeps finding new rooms.
