Fourteen years in, Blue Steel are one of the more experienced covers duos working out of Brisbane. Male and female vocals over acoustic guitar, both singers Conservatorium graduates, and that training shows in how cleanly they move between a high energy corporate room and a slow Sunday session. They've played internationally, and locally you'll have heard them at Palazzo Versace, Emporium, Cloudland, Pressclub, Byblos and Sirromet Winery. There was a three year residency at Garuva Restaurant behind them, and a New Year's Eve slot at an exclusive Fijian island resort that's now run six years straight. The set list gets refreshed to keep pace with what's current, but the classics are always there to fall back on.
