Bobby Holmes is a singer-songwriter from Gold Coast, Queensland.
A Gold Coast singer and acoustic guitarist, Bobby Holmes started out performing in Tokyo before moving into local events and clubs. He reached the top 24 on Australian Idol 2023. Alongside his own club work he plays in the Hitmen band and performs as one half of the Angus and Bobby duo. His sets move from decades-old hits through to current chart songs, covering the Police, Cold Chisel, Bruno Mars, Tom Petty, the Beatles and Ed Sheeran among others. The range spans acoustic solo work and full-band shows, built from years on Gold Coast stages.
