Mostly WAAPA-trained, Boogie Lover Band builds a full-bodied sound around disco, funk and dance material from the seventies and eighties through to newer grooves. Horns, strings, percussion and electronics sit alongside powerhouse vocals, with every track given its own creative arrangement rather than a straight reproduction. The band is based in Perth.
