Bourdon River is a cover band.
A four-piece pub rock band with Australian rock covers at the core of its set. Darren Wombey sings and plays guitar, John Girvin takes lead guitar and adds vocals of his own with performing experience outside Australia, Rick Williams plays bass, and Rod Gillard drums and put the band together, choosing most of the repertoire himself. The mix leans on familiar Australian rock tracks people already know, chosen to keep a room dancing rather than sitting still.
