Maggie's from Scotland, Fred's from Ireland, and together they're Brassick Duo, proud Australians these days and based at Wyongah on the NSW Central Coast. They cover everything from the 1940s to today's hits, take in Irish classics (no rebel songs) and roll out Christmas favourites through the festive season, all built around harmonies that genuinely lock together. Nothing too thumping, either. It's a set that suits an over-50s crowd especially well, and they play pubs, clubs, weddings, corporate functions, backyard parties and aged care homes, where the older songs land beautifully.
