Bridget Brennan

A cadetship at the ABC in 2010 set Bridget Brennan on a path through radio and television that has taken in Darwin, Hong Kong and London. National radio current affairs reporting on AM, The World Today and PM followed, then a move into Background Briefing and Four Corners ahead of the 2016 Andrew Olle scholarship. She then took the role of the ABC's national Indigenous Affairs correspondent, followed by a posting as Europe correspondent based in London. A return to Australia in 2020 brought the role of the ABC's Indigenous Affairs editor and later a seat on the Insiders panel. Brennan has hosted the summer edition of The Drum and co-hosted a special edition of Speaking Up on the Uluru Statement and the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, and in 2023 the ABC announced Brennan would join News Breakfast as a weekly news presenter.
