Cabana Funk pairs a DJ with live bongo playing, so you get the reliability of a programmed set with a Latin percussionist working on top of it. It's the sort of thing that shifts a Sydney function room towards summer whatever the calendar says, and it does it with one performer in the room rather than a full band. Live saxophone, trumpet or a vocalist can be added if you want more front. Best suited to cocktail hours, corporate drinks and parties where you'd like people loosening up early.
