Cameron McLaren has taken stand-up from Perth stages to more than fifty mine sites across the state, with regional tours through Geraldton, Bunbury, Carnarvon, Exmouth and Port Hedland along the way. Support slots for Pete Rowsthorn in the South West sit alongside both clean and darker material depending on the room. Fringeworld named McLaren best comedy winner in 2017 for the debut hour '6056', a look back at growing up in Midland, and Comedian of the Year came that same year from the Laugh Resort, Perth's oldest running comedy club. His hosting credits include audience MC for Channel Seven’s Telethon from 2014 and Bogan Bingo across Perth and regional WA between 2014 and 2017. He has also hosted weekly and themed trivia nights at Perth venues, alongside a podcast, Movies Are Dumb, which later became a live stage show.
