Three decades of gigs have made Carinda Christie a household name in Cairns and down the east coast. The solo show is a one-woman operation in the fullest sense: big soulful vocals over acoustic and slide guitars, keyboard and ukulele, with kick and snare foot pads keeping the rhythm underneath. Covers span blues, pop, folk and rock for pub work, and there are festival and original showcases too. She also fronts a four-piece blues-boogie and pop rock band when the room wants the bigger version.
