Carnival Brass

This interactive brass and comedy group draws its players from Melbourne's professional music scene, with individual backgrounds that take in television work, theatre productions and concert hall performance. The repertoire is deliberately wide, moving from Beethoven through to Bacharach and drawing on songs well beyond one genre or era. Instead of holding one stage position, the group moves through the crowd at a themed event, folding comedy into the music as it goes so the performance happens among guests rather than in front of them.
