House, tech house, deep house, R&B, hip-hop, funk and disco all move through a Cashew set, a DJ known for weaving old school and new school tracks together rather than sticking to one era. Dancefloors up and down the east coast are part of the regular booking circuit, built on reading a room and adjusting the mix accordingly. Genre-blending is the constant here, with each set drawing on more than one style rather than a single sound played straight through.
