Ira Gontcharov plays as Champs, a Ukrainian-born producer and DJ based in New South Wales. The sets move through house, funk, disco, ambient tech, jungle and electronica with a hypnotic pull to them. In her Sydney residencies she does something different again, weaving singalongs, pub classics and R&B and dance hits from several decades into one night. Being able to work both those rooms is rare, and it makes her a safe bet for a crowd you cannot fully predict.
