About this act
Charlie Farmer is an indie rock artist out of Newcastle, backed by his band and taking cues from Hockey Dad and Fool Nelson. The live shows are the reason his following keeps growing, built through gigs across Newcastle and the rest of New South Wales including the Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour. He has supported Mac The Knife at Kahibah Sports Club on their Drowning In Honey Tour, Clay Western at The Lass O'Gowrie Hotel, Jordan Kenny fresh off his European tour, and plenty of local names including Poltergeist 9000 and Trophy Wyfe. His debut single AGE landed in September 2025 and made the Newcastle Music Show's Steel City 50 for the year.
