Charlie McCarthy

Charlie McCarthy came from Ireland and has since played violin in about every setting the instrument allows: symphony orchestras, Celtic dance bands, jazz combos and plenty besides. He works widely as a session musician and has played all of Australia's major music festivals. He also teaches contemporary violin at the University of Tasmania, which tells you something about the depth behind the playing. Hobart based, and adaptable across a very wide range of music.
