About this act
Ukuleles, live looping, sax, keys, clarinet and melodica, with a bass guitarist underneath holding the groove together. Chelsea builds a solo show out of far more instruments than one performer normally carries, and the result leans into soul, reggae and indie pop. There's a wide covers list too, so a venue or a private crowd gets material they know. Chelsea has played the Brisbane Festival and City Sounds, NightQuarter markets on the Gold Coast, the Wide Open Space Festival at Alice Springs, and remote parts of coastal Western Australia. Weddings, birthdays, private functions and venue bookings all work.
