Kerry sings and plays keys, Brian plays guitar, and between them Cherry Duo can either fill a room like a five piece or strip back to guitar and a voice. The pull is rhythm. Rock and roll, swing, ballads, pop, rockabilly and a run of instrumentals, aimed squarely at audiences who want to sing along and be spoken to. Bill Haley, the Beatles, Petula Clark and the Monkees anchor the 50s and 60s end, with ABBA and later material carrying it forward. Line dancers get Achy Breaky Heart, Neon Moon and Nutbush. There's Apache from the Shadows and Reef Break by the Atlantics, plus early Australiana and some 1920s novelty numbers. Digital mixers, PA, amps and LED lighting come with them, backups included.
