Chilled Out Sax

Terry Jones works solo on this act, moving between saxophone, sampled flute and trumpet with vocals over funky dance grooves and jazz standards. Jones has toured Australia, New Zealand and Asia on the international hotel circuit and worked as a studio musician. Four original albums have been written and produced, with songs in both French and English, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival has backed each release. The concept behind Chilled Out Sax is a more intimate, lower-volume set, with the performer moving through the room while playing rather than staying fixed to a stage. Popular songs such as Route 66 and Black Magic Woman sit alongside jazz standards including Satin Doll and Summertime.
