Chris Godleman is a Perth country artist with a shelf of independent awards and a long list of venues and festivals across WA behind him. He plays his own material alongside the songs people came for: George Strait, Merle Haggard, Jim Reeves, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks, plus Troy Cassar-Daley and Slim Dusty closer to home. For smaller rooms he works solo with his own sound gear and professional backing tracks, and he'll strip it back to straight acoustic where that suits better.
