Chris Murphy fronts the group, joined by James Charles on violin, Anna Sarcich on cello and Tresna Stampalia on flute. Their repertoire runs from The Beatles through to Ed Sheeran, arranged for this unusual mix of singer-songwriter warmth and classical colour. Chris is an award-winning songwriter and former Australian Idol performer with decades in the Western Australian music scene. The string musicians have appeared on stage with artists including Anthony Warlow, Rod Stewart, Delta Goodrem, Olivia Newton-John and Diana Krall. It's a format that gives familiar songs detail and shape without turning them into formal concert pieces.
