The trick is guitar looping. Chris builds a bed of rhythm, lays kick drum underneath it, adds vocal harmonies and solo lines over the top, and by the second chorus it sounds like a band is up there. His voice is a rock voice, and it carries the load. Over 400 songs in the repertoire covers new hits and old favourites, so a room can pick its own direction. And he talks to the crowd, which is what turns a background gig into a singalong and a full dance floor. Weddings, corporate events, private functions and venue nights across Sydney.
