Chris Venn is a singer-songwriter based in the Blue Mountains who plays both electric and acoustic guitar, and he builds his sets with looping, vocal harmony and his own pre-recorded parts. That last bit gives him room to play proper lead guitar over the top, which most solo acts can't do. The list mixes popular, classic and modern hits with his originals: Come Together, A Whiter Shade of Pale, Great Southern Land, Golden Brown, Fields of Gold, Losing My Religion, Mad World. Sets get shaped to the event, laid back or pushed towards rock and dance. Corporate events, private functions, weddings, festivals and clubs. He needs an hour to set up and venue access for a wheeled equipment trolley. Public liability insurance is in place.
