Three Brisbane musicians, one December habit. The Christmas Sweaters bring together bush dance caller Ben King of the Smashing Bumpkins Bush Dance Band, violinist Liz Young, and country singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jack Lorry. What comes out is Christmas with a country and bluegrass accent: traditional carols, bluegrass yuletide tunes and the more modern festive songs that people actually sing along to. Built for carols events, Christmas festivals, concerts and shopping centre programmes, where you want live players rather than a backing track.
