Chukale have been running Latin parties in Australia since 2005, built on Afro-Cuban rhythms played properly. The ensemble has shared stages with international salsa names including Los Van Van. What makes them different from a DJ playing Latin records is the crowd engagement: they'll get people dancing who arrived certain they couldn't.
