Cirque Chic By Dargie Entertainment

Cirque Chic is a Sydney production from Dargie Entertainment that puts technical dance, acrobatics and aerial work into one show. The dance ensemble carries the choreography, tightly set and precise, while the acrobatic side handles the flips, twists and contortions. The centrepiece is the Lollipop Lyra, a ground-based aerial act performed on a freestanding hoop, where the transitions matter as much as the strength holding them. There's partner and group balance work through the show as well, the kind that only comes off with a lot of trust between performers. A Cyr Wheel act can be added, one performer spinning and steering inside a large metal wheel. Costuming leans couture. It suits corporate events, gala dinners, festivals and larger celebrations.
