About this act
Jessica is a Melbourne soprano who moves between classical and contemporary repertoire, and the voice carries in both. She graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts with degrees in Contemporary Music and Musical Theatre. Before that she was signed to Sony as part of an indie rock band and toured nationally. More recently she performed in the world premiere of MIMMA, a Musical of War and Friendship. Five years of weddings, corporate events and restaurant work sit behind the current song list, which leans soulful rather than showy. She usually performs as a duo with a pianist, and more voices or instruments can be added for bigger occasions.
