Clay McMath

Clay McMath came to stand up after a basketball career ended, and started sharpening the act at Adelaide's Rhino Room. The humour is quick, observational and irreverent, with a fair bit of self deprecation and storytelling holding it together, and he's not shy about pushing at a line to land a joke. Which means he's a strong pick for a crowd that wants edge, and the wrong pick for a room that bruises easily. He's played comedy clubs and festivals around Australia.
