Cliff plays lead guitar, stomp box and percussion. Brendan handles lead vocals, backing guitar and percussion. Everything you hear is played live, with no backing tracks propping up the sound. Their repertoire runs from contemporary rock, pop, jazz and funk back to 60s classics, and they will sometimes take a song somewhere unexpected in the Like a Version tradition. Between them they have a decade of playing across Queensland and New South Wales, as a duo and in other projects, covering songs and writing their own. That range makes them easy to place, whether the job is a busy bar, a cafe afternoon, a corporate function or a wedding.
