Clint Allen

A trumpet player with a Masters of Music, Clint Allen has shared stages with James Morrison, Tina Arena, Chrissy Amphlett, Human Nature, Natalie Cole, Anthony Callea and Leo Sayer. His playing turns up in some unlikely places: television commercials, Sony PlayStation soundtracks, contemporary operas, plus a long list of orchestral, jazz and festival work. Australian Arts and Queensland Arts grants have funded contemporary music programs he built, and a Churchill Fellowship followed. Impulse, the first album under his own name, was cut in Osnabruck alongside Dutch players: the Zapp 4 String Quartet, with Martin Fondse at the piano. Brisbane based, and available for big band, swing, jazz, funk, soul and wedding work.
