Clio

Clio is the disco diva alter ego of recording artist Danielle Bellas, London born and Sydney based. Her earlier pop and R&B releases came with producers including Jud Mahoney, Rishi Rich and Jon Reichardt, and then a moment of synchronicity at a Glitterbox event in Sydney sent her toward modern disco instead. She's a resident diva at Sydney club nights I Remember House and Club Broadway, and she talks openly about wanting to unite people of all ages and walks of life on a dance floor and to encourage them to be unapologetically themselves. The influences are Donna Summer, Diana Ross and Sister Sledge, filtered through slick modern production.
