LED robot, stilt walker, podium dancer, hula hooper, mirror suit character. ClockworkManda has been performing for over 20 years, trained in commercial dance and several other styles, and the through line is a strong read of whatever music is playing. Freestyling next to live musicians on festival stages is the favourite, though the same fluid, high energy movement works just as well in a corporate room or at a kids party. Roving sets usually run around 20 to 30 minutes each across a two and a half to three hour call, with combinations of hoop, robot and mirror costume. Stilt work needs a sturdy table and chair, or a loading dock, to get up out of sight. LED acts don't go out in the rain, so a wet weather plan is worth having. Insurances are held.
