Coast Trio

Glen Knox on guitar and vocals, Stan May on saxes, Roger Koller on bass. The Coast Trio play jazz and Latin, drawing on the American Songbook, Jobim and Santana, and they describe what they do as cafe jazz. There's a gap they fill deliberately. One guitarist and a voice can feel thin, but a covers band in a restaurant or a small function room is just loud. Three players sit right in between. You get real range across styles without your guests raising their voices to be heard. Sunshine Coast based, and the natural fit for parties, dinners and functions where the conversation matters as much as the music.
