Cocco

Cocco is a Brazilian DJ and live percussionist based in Fremantle, and he plays both at once. Afro house, melodic techno and organic grooves come from the decks while djembe, bongos and other world percussion get played over the top. That combination changes the feel of a room considerably. He founded Mistika Music, and years of festivals, clubs and cultural events sit behind him, along with the Brazilian musical background that started it. The sets are built to carry an audience somewhere rather than just fill the air.
