Indie rock that grazes a few other genres without ever leaving the shelf it belongs on. Commonside formed in the UK in the early 2000s and supported the Kaiser Chiefs among others, before founding member Andy Cartwright moved to Australia in 2012 and rebuilt the band here. A couple of EPs and several singles have come out over the past five years, with an album planned. Gold Coast based. Twenty years of the same band's songs behind them.
