Cool Sounds Collective started with a group of friends throwing all-vinyl parties at the Vinyl Cafe, playing anything that felt good from reggae through to drum and bass. That's still the brief. Roots in UK pirate radio and sound system culture, plus twenty-odd years of crate digging in record shops around the world, have given them a sound that isn't off a laptop playlist. Perth based, funk-forward, and built for a room that wants to dance.
