Cool Sounds Collective started as a group of friends running all-vinyl nights at Perth's Vinyl Cafe, spinning reggae through to drum and bass. That vinyl-first approach has stuck: over twenty years of crate digging plus a grounding in UK pirate radio culture and sound system tradition still shape the sets today. The collective favours the format that built it, playing records rather than digital files, and carries the same funk and energy from those original club nights into each booking.
