Coverpalooza play the anthems, and they play them loud. Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Fleetwood Mac, Dragon and INXS all turn up, often stitched into mashups that run a classic rock riff straight into something contemporary. The line-up is Joe Rahme on drums, Wayne Smith on bass, and Ryan Thomas and Dave Bleus sharing guitar and lead vocals, so there are two frontmen trading the spotlight rather than one. They work out of the Hawkesbury, north-west of Sydney. Rock nostalgia with modern hits threaded through, and a band that clearly enjoys the noise.
