Craig Martin

A modern day crooner from Liverpool who has been on the Queensland scene since 2010. Craig Martin performs his own arrangements of swing, pop and rock and roll, mixing traditional big band material with contemporary swing. In England he sang with several of the UK's leading big bands, including The Syd Lawrence Orchestra. Since arriving here he's played the Redland Performing Arts Centre, Twin Towns, The Arts Centre Gold Coast, Logan Entertainment Centre, Kedron Wavell Services Club and the Brisbane Jazz Club, and become a regular guest vocalist with The Brisbane Big Band, The University of Queensland Big Band, The Brisbane Symphonic Band and The Brass Roots Big Band. His own band comes as a 6, 8, 11 or 16 piece, and has worked gala dinners and corporate events across Queensland and New South Wales.
