Adelaide's Crossfire Hurricane is a five or six piece built around the Rolling Stones catalogue, working through different periods of the band's work rather than sticking to one era. There are no synthesisers, no brass and no backing tracks; the aim is the raw guitar-driven sound of the Stones at their sixties and early-seventies peak. The songlist ranges from Paint It Black and Gimme Shelter through Start Me Up, Tumbling Dice and Jumping Jack Flash to deeper picks like Little Red Rooster and Faraway Eyes.
