Canadian born and now based in Melbourne, Dakota East plays country with folk and blues underneath and a modern edge over the top. Her debut single Runaway passed 400,000 streams and made major playlists, and her follow-up Moving On reached number 8 on the charts. She was a top ten finalist in the 2024 Tamworth Toyota Starmaker Competition, and she's supported Shannon Noll and Brooke McClymont. A real songwriter with the numbers to back it up.
