Damien J. Johnson is an Ipswich-based country, folk and blues artist whose songs come out of regional Australian life and the storytelling that goes with it. He's shared stages with James Blundell, Daryl Braithwaite and David McCormack of Custard, and been featured on ABC Country and ABC Local Radio. In 2025 he was a Grand Finalist in the Australian Country Music Stars competition. Lee Kernaghan described him as truly authentic, which is a hard thing to get from someone who would know.
