Acid house is Dan Watt's home ground, and he plays it with the gear it was made on. Vintage synthesizers and analogue equipment, raw and pulsing, built into sets that unfold rather than jump about. There's real technical skill in it, but the sets are led by instinct more than theory, and he's earned a name in underground electronic circles for exactly that. St Kilda based. Better suited to a late room than an early one.
