Dancing Tiger

Rachelle Houston runs Dancing Tiger from Ipswich, teaching belly dance since 2006 alongside a Bachelor of Teaching and an early background in tap and jazz ballet. Performances have taken the act across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, including the Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival, the Brisbane Extravaganza and the Boonah Arts Spectacular, and a 2010 season of Australia's Got Talent reached the semi-final stage. Dancing Tiger also fields the belly dance troupe, Zarabanda, available for weddings, birthdays and corporate functions, and Rachelle qualified as a Zumba Fitness instructor in 2010 and has taught classes through the Dancing Tiger dance school as well as at out-of-school-hours care centres. Solo sets, troupe shows and hen's night packages are all part of what's on offer across the wider south-east Queensland region, from Ipswich out to Brisbane and up the coast.
