Danica

Danica started singing professionally at nineteen, first in casinos, bars and restaurants, then at gala balls and officers' dinners with the Australian Army Band, all while working in an acoustic duo. She's been a soloist at Carols by Candlelight and has spent more than twenty years playing everywhere from Darwin to Melbourne. Time living in the United States, France and Indonesia followed, and she's recently returned to Cairns. The style is soulful, laid-back and a little jazzy, with Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse in the mix. Wedding ceremonies, sunset drinks by the water, relaxed venue sets: the aim is an atmosphere where people connect and unwind.
