Danica turned professional at nineteen, working casinos, bars and restaurants first. That early run opened the door to gala balls and, later, officers' dinners alongside the Australian Army Band, all while an acoustic duo kept going in parallel. Carols by Candlelight has featured a solo spot too, part of more than two decades spent playing venues between Darwin and Melbourne. Stretches living abroad came next, in the US, France and Indonesia, ahead of a return to Cairns. The sound sits somewhere soulful and unhurried, suited to a ceremony, sunset drinks by the water or a relaxed venue set.
