Fingerstyle and percussive guitar, the kind where the body of the instrument is doing half the rhythm, matched with an easy voice on top. Danny Shamess grew up in northern Ontario and has taken the act through auditoriums, lounges, jazz and blues clubs, festivals, weddings and private functions across the world, thousands of shows across more than ten years. He's shared stages with Grammy winners JJ Grey & Mofro, Finger Eleven, David Wilcox and Juno winner Crystal Shawanda. Ben Harper heard his cover of Diamonds On The Inside and called it better than the original. The song list stretches from Johnny Cash to Eric Clapton, John Mayer to The Police, Bob Marley to Ray Charles, all of it given the same percussive treatment.
