Danté Knows

Dante Knows grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and built his sound out of reggae, dancehall and heavy bass trap, with contemporary influences from Lil Wayne and Vybz Kartel through to psychedelic rock. His West Indian heritage runs through all of it. He's a fixture of Sydney's hip hop community and hosts the monthly Pass The Mic in partnership with Bodega Collective, where fifteen young musicians each get a song in front of a room of three hundred plus. He also works in fashion, having walked for Vfiles at New York Fashion Week and appeared in GQ, Rolling Stone and Complex. Based in Newtown.
